Continuing Day Treatment Program is a daily therapeutic program that provides services to individuals who are 18 years and older, working towards recovery from mental and emotional challenges. The Continuing Day Treatment Program strives to:

  • Meet the individual needs of our clients
  • Help people help themselves
  • Teach or enhance functional skills
  • Help individuals reach their own fullest potential and independence
  • Ensure every individual’s right to be a fully integrated community member
We provide the following services:
  • Therapeutic groups
  • Medication management 
  • Confidential counseling
  • Rehabilitation & recovery
  • Lunch
  • Psychiatric services
  • Symptom management
  • Problem solving
  • Support & enhancement
  • Transportation*
*Transportation is available for those clients who live over one mile from the program or who have physical problems that preclude walking or use of an automobile.

Professional and confidential counseling is available on an individual and group basis. The Continuing Day Treatment staff includes a Psychiatrist, Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Activity Therapists. The staff has expertise in a variety of issues, including relationships, care giving, loss through death, income changes, retirement, illness and emotional stress. They are knowledgeable in all mental health issues.

To request intake information for yourself or a loved one, please call 716-433-1937, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A phone consultation will follow, then a face-to-face assessment will be scheduled for the individual. Questions will be answered and a trial visit will be scheduled.

This program is supported by the Niagara County Department of Mental Health, the NYS Office of Mental Health, and the NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
