Descend 180 feet beneath the historic Niagara Parks Power Station to discover the 2,200-foot-long tunnel that lies under Niagara’s cathedral of power. This all-new attraction uncovers a never-before-seen underground world and reveals more fascinating details about Niagara’s incredible story of power. Make your way down into the tunnel in a glass-enclosed elevator and prepare to witness a breathtaking panoramic view of the falls from the viewing platform at the edge of the Niagara River. The pathway is even and smooth, but be sure to wear comfortable footwear. Look for benches along the way if you need to stop and take a break. You’re 180 feet underground. Despite the weather on the surface, it can get chilly down there! It’s about 60 degrees. Consider dressing for the weather and bringing a light jacket. Once you reach the observation deck at the river’s edge, expect to get wet! Recyclable rain ponchos are available upon request.
