Our Powerful Tools for Caregivers class series is BACK and in person!
Are you a caregiver? Would you like to learn how to reduce stress and increase confidence? Join us for our next Powerful Tools for Caregivers class starting Wednesday, April 7th from 9:00am to 11:30am at The Dale Association Senior Centre. This 6-week class, which runs through May 19th (excluding May 5th) provides you with all the tools, perspective, balance and support you need to not only take care of your loved one, but to take care of yourself! There is no cost for this class but registration is required. Participants will receive a copy of The Caregiver Helpbook. Class number is limited.
Call The Dale Association at 433-1886 and ask for class instructor Angie Crawshaw at ext. 111 to register.
All Covid19 protocols will be in place and participants will be required to wear a mask at all times. Beverages are allowed but must be in a sealable container with a lid.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Powerful Tools is a 6-week course that offers caregivers practical solutions to gain and maintain balance in their busy lives, and also provides a safe and constructive forum for peer support.

Caregiver Support Groups
Caregiver Support Groups offer caregivers the opportunity to share their feelings, challenges and resources in a relaxed and confidential peer group setting. Our certified caregiver support group facilitator has extensive experience working with clients with dementia and other chronic illnesses.
Caregiver Support Group meets the 4th Monday of the month at 1:00 pm at 33 Ontario St, Lockport.
